Sony Unveils Enhanced ULT Power Sound Lineup

At the top of the lineup, the ULT Tower 9 stands out with its powerful sound output and robust build. Priced at $899 for the battery-powered version and $749 for the plug-in model, the Tower 9 boasts multiple drivers including two woofers, two midrange drivers, and four tweeters, delivering a 360-degree soundfield. Enhanced with 10-band EQ, splash-proof controls, and upgraded wheels and handle for easy transportation, the Tower 9 is engineered for large gatherings and immersive audio experiences. The addition of the dedicated Party Connect button simplifies the process of linking multiple speakers, supporting up to 100 units for expansive sound coverage.

Complementing the speaker lineup, the ULT Mic priced at $149 introduces karaoke and PA functionality to compatible Sony speakers. This kit includes two wireless microphones and a transmitter, featuring Duet Match technology that balances audio levels between different singers. Compatible with a range of ULT and older Sony models, the ULT Mic integrates seamlessly, allowing users to enjoy interactive audio performances without the need for additional equipment.

Sony has also streamlined the user experience by consolidating its mobile applications into the single “Sony | Sound Connect” app. This unified platform offers advanced features such as custom equalization and light show controls, alongside intuitive Party Mode and Pairing buttons for effortless speaker synchronization.
