AMC (Advanced Merit Concept) is a HiFi and Smart Home audio company founded in 1970 by computer-generated brand name. Part of Weltronics Corp. based in South Pasadena, USA, with products developed in London and Los Angeles, manufactured in Taiwan. Known for OEM production (formerly built NAD products before 1992) and focuses on 25-year reliability amplifiers, Smart Home multi-room systems, and high-end HiFi components with soft clipping topology developed in the 1970s.
