Founded by Changyeul Park and Jinsung Ko, AsciLAB (Acoustic Science Laboratory) represents a transition from nearly 20 years at the forefront of room acoustics in South Korea to precision loudspeaker manufacturing. Based in Seoul, the company leverages two decades of acoustics and live sound experience to develop measurement-led loudspeaker designs using Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and their Klippel NFS system. Their mission centers on delivering the highest possible sound quality at reasonable prices through scientific approaches. AsciLAB invested in Klippel NFS (near field scanner) technology from inception, enabling design of what they claim are the most transparent loudspeakers currently available. Their current product lineup includes C6B, F6B, F6B/S, and A6B models, with the C6B featuring 6-inch aluminum-ceramic woofer, 1-inch aluminum-ceramic dome tweeter, and 5×8-inch passive radiator. The company has published roadmaps for larger units and powerful subwoofers, representing the evolution from room acoustics expertise to precision speaker manufacturing.
