Audioengine is an independent speaker company founded in 2005 in Austin, Texas by Brady Bargenquast and Dave Evans, two audio industry veterans with backgrounds at companies like Harman, Apple, Gibson Guitars, and Alesis. The company was established with a simple goal: to build speakers that sound great, are easy to set up and use, and make people want to listen to music every day. Audioengine specializes in high-quality powered home music systems, desktop speakers, subwoofers, wireless adapters, DACs, and amplifiers. Their flagship products include the A2+ desktop speakers, HD6 all-in-one system, and B2 Bluetooth speaker. The company maintains its independence with no parent companies or venture capital investors. Under current CEO Nate Rodriguez, Audioengine recently relocated from North Carolina to Austin, Texas as part of a strategic move to assemble an elite team for aggressive growth and innovation. The company is known for integrating both analog and digital connections, offering easy connectivity options including RCA, 3.5mm AUX, Optical, USB, and Hi-Res Bluetooth.
