Audiolabor was a respected German high-end audio equipment manufacturer founded around 1976 by Helmut Brinkmann, Hannes Knorn, and Dieter Fricke. The company specialized in amplifiers, preamps, and turntables, including the notable 'Konstant' turntable from 1981. After several ownership changes, including sales to Reinhard Wachowiak (1984) and later Scheck Audio GmbH (1993), the company was officially deleted from the commercial register in 2003. The founder Helmut Brinkmann went on to establish Brinkmann Audio in 1985. The original website is maintained for historical purposes and spare parts support only.
