Founded in July 2017 by 22 former AKG employees after AKG's Vienna office closure, Austrian Audio carries on Austria's audio engineering tradition. The company specializes in high-end microphones, headphones, and professional audio tools for sound engineers, producers, musicians, and content creators. Notable products include the OC7 True Condenser Instrument Microphone and OC818 Black Dual Set. All products are manufactured in Vienna, maintaining the 'Made in Austria' tradition. Recently acquired by DPA Microphones in 2025, operations continue under the Austrian Audio name.
