Founded April 1, 1993 in Maisons-Alfort, Paris by longtime friends Christian Avedissian and Bruno Roux, BC Acoustique emerged from shared passion for sound and music. Christian studied piano for 14 years while Bruno specialized in signal processing at École Nationale d'Aviation Civile. Their first product, the Araxe, launched their river-naming tradition symbolizing music flowing like water. The company pioneered horn tweeter technology, earning the prestigious 'Diapason d'or' award in 1995 for the Niger model. Expanding from audiophile speakers to home theater (Axios central speaker, 1996) and electronics (EX Series, 2012), BC became a major French hi-fi player. International expansion began with CES Las Vegas (1999), followed by European markets. The 2011 creation of BC Diffusion enhanced distribution capabilities.
