Bel Canto Design

Bel Canto Design, Ltd was founded in 1991 by John Stronczer in Minneapolis, Minnesota. John Stronczer, an electrical engineering graduate from the University of Minnesota, worked in advanced semiconductor research at Honeywell Research for 10 years before founding the company. Originally debuting as a tube amplifier manufacturer noted for SET designs, Bel Canto evolved to become a leader in digital audio technology. The company specializes in high-end audio products including amplifiers, DACs, preamplifiers, and integrated amplifiers. All products are designed and manufactured locally in Minneapolis by company engineers. The company has operated for over 30 years with a focus on creating engaging musical playback experiences through innovative design.
