The Burmester Ambience BA71 is a premium loudspeaker that boasts a sophisticated three-way, bass-reflex design. It is engineered to deliver exceptional sound fidelity and is priced at approximately $55,000 USD per pair. The BA71 features a total of eight drivers, including two 6.7” midrange drivers and four 6.7” woofers, supported by a new Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeter positioned on the rear panel to enhance spatial reproduction. The speaker measures 48.5 inches in height, 11.9 inches in width, and 19.7 inches in depth, weighing around 132 pounds. Creational flexibility is evident in the BA71’s design, as its components can be finely adjusted to accommodate various listening environments. The frequency response is specified at 35Hz to 40kHz with a sensitivity of 89dB and a minimum impedance of 4 ohms, making it compatible with a variety of amplifiers. The drivers are crafted with fiberglass and paper cones and utilize a unique Balanced Drive motor system for optimal performance. Inside, the speakers house four high-quality crossover networks to minimize signal degradation. The cabinet is made from MDF and is designed for internal bracing and damping to enhance sound quality.
