Originally established as the Electrical Manufacturing and Plating Company, the company launched its first housed loudspeaker called 'Celestion' in early 1925. Now headquartered in Ipswich, England, Celestion has evolved into a world-renowned manufacturer specializing in premium guitar and bass speakers, as well as professional audio drivers for sound reinforcement. The company operates from a modern 30,000m² ISO9000 and ISO14000-accredited facility with over 1,400 employees and is part of the Gold Peak Technology Group, which has an annual turnover exceeding US $1 billion. Celestion is celebrated for pioneering innovations including being the first loudspeaker manufacturer to use Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for vibro-acoustic modeling.
