Founded in 1982 by Michael Creek in London, Creek Audio Ltd is a British manufacturer of high-fidelity audio electronics specializing in integrated amplifiers, CD players, and DACs. Michael Creek, who gained extensive experience at his father's company Wyndsor Recording, launched the brand with the affordable CAS4040 amplifier that challenged established brands. After being sold to TGI PLC in 1988, Creek was reacquired in 1993 by a consortium including the founder. Mike Creek later acquired full ownership in 2004 and also purchased Epos Acoustics in 1999. The company has maintained its philosophy of delivering exceptional sound quality at accessible prices for over 40 years, recently repositioning toward higher-end markets while production moved to Eastern Europe in 2018.
