C1 Platinum

The C1 Platinum speakers present a remarkable combination of compactness and high performance. Despite their small size, these speakers are designed to deliver big, immersive sound that draws you into the music. Drawing from the strengths of their larger siblings, the C4 and C2, the Confidence C1 Platinum incorporates superior craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology into its compact form.

The C1 Platinum speakers feature the highly regarded precision-coated Esotar2 soft-dome tweeter and a 17cm magnesium silicate polymer (MSP) mid/bass woofer. They share the same Kapton voice-coil former, advanced first-order crossover, machined aluminium baffle, and glass-blasted tweeter plate as their larger counterparts. This results in a smooth tonal balance, intricate detail resolution, and a lifelike presence that makes it feel as though the musicians are performing right in front of you.

The excellent imaging and soundstaging of the C1 Platinum are achieved through the use of a high-quality classic first-order crossover filter and select components, arranged in a way that directs sound slightly upwards. This special design minimizes boundary reflections from the floor compared to conventional monitor designs, ensuring a clear and engaging listening experience. To maintain consistency in both performance and design, the C1 Platinum can be paired with the Dynaudio Stand 6. Made from aluminium and featuring a multi-layer plinth, the Stand 6 provides an ideal foundation for the speakers.

The Confidence Platinum models are available in an array of luxurious finishes, echoing those found in the Evidence Platinum series:

• Mocca: Bird’s-eye maple real wood veneer stained in dark brown, finished with clear piano lacquer.
