Founded with roots tracing back to 1974 when the late Kanemori Takai established the original 'final' brand as a high-end audio manufacturer focused on cartridges, Final Audio was formally established in 2007. Originally operating as a subsidiary of American connector manufacturer Molex, the company achieved independence through a management buyout in 2014, relocating from Shinagawa, Tokyo to Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture in January 2015. Led by CEO Mitsuru Hosoo with 100 million yen in capital, Final Audio specializes in developing, manufacturing, and selling high-end audio earphones and headphones under their own final brand, while also conducting component technology development and OEM services. Based at their Kawasaki headquarters, the company has built its reputation since beginning sales of final brand earphones in 2009, releasing their first Final branded headphone in 2013. Their philosophy centers on meticulous attention to detail and innovation, with production staff actively contributing improvements while maintaining craftsperson pride. Final Audio products are crafted in-house at their Kawasaki factory, where they develop and manufacture drivers used in final products and assemble high-end earphones and headphones, combining traditional Japanese craftsmanship with cutting-edge audio technology to deliver premium audio experiences worldwide.
