The ES 165 K kit represents a fusion of advanced audio technology and meticulous craftsmanship designed to deliver outstanding sound performance. Originating from France, this compact and easily installable system features two 165 mm (6.5") woofers and two 20 mm TKM tweeters. The Kevlar® K2 Power membranes integrated within these speakers are known for their dynamic and well-defined sound reproduction. These membranes benefit from characteristics like lightness, rigidity, and effective damping, which are complemented by the innovative TMD suspensions. Originally developed for Sopra high-fidelity speakers, the TMD suspensions possess a specialized profile that manages resonances and minimizes distortion.
The ES 165 K kit’s tweeters, crafted from aramid fibers, boast an exclusive "M" shaped inverted dome. This design ensures precise and smooth reproduction of high frequencies up to 22 kHz, managing to maintain clarity and detail. Their compact crossovers are user-friendly, allowing for quick installation and straightforward configuration. Furthermore, the tweeters come with a variety of mounting accessories, catering to flexible installation options. They can be integrated into original locations or configured in angled or flush mounts. To offer a complete package, the kit includes stylish aluminum and mesh grilles. While the ES 165 K is a testament to superior audio engineering, it is important to note that this product is no longer available.
