Gale

Gale is a British Hi-Fi loudspeaker brand with roots dating back to the early 1970s, originally founded through collaboration between Ira Gale and Sao Win. Once a respected independent English manufacturer producing popular speakers imported to the USA by Audio Technica in the mid-1970s, Gale was later acquired and is now owned by Audio Partnership UK (established 1994). The brand is currently distributed exclusively through Richer Sounds in the UK, with modern products manufactured in China. Today's Gale operates as a budget-oriented brand offering entry-level Hi-Fi speakers including the 40 Series, 30 Series, and Monitor Series loudspeakers. While maintaining the historic Gale name, current products are considered significantly different from the company's original high-quality reputation of the 1970s-80s era.
