Graham Slee is a British high-fidelity audio equipment manufacturer founded by professional electronics engineer Graham Slee in 1998. The company was originally established as Graham Slee Projects in October 1998 and was incorporated as Graham Slee Projects Limited in November 2005. In 2015, the business was rebranded as HiFi System Components Ltd, and as of 2023, Graham Slee™, HiFi System Components™ and DAK™ are brand names of Cadman Enterprises Limited. Graham Slee trained as an engineer in the 1970s, spent 10 years in AV, five years as a printed circuit designer, and four years as a senior engineer in broadcast-audio design before establishing his company. The brand specializes in phono stages and headphone amplifiers that have been developed 'hand in hand' since 2000, with each product category leading to improvements in the other. Key products include the award-winning Era Gold V phono preamp, Novo Headphone Amplifier (which won What Hi-Fi? Sound & Vision best headphone amplifier award three years in a row), and various phono stages and headphone amplifiers. The company maintains its philosophy of manufacturing all designs in-house in UK workshops, remaining small and approachable. Graham Slee retired on December 31, 2022, with John Cadman (who joined in 2004) now managing the brand alongside quality control engineer Leon Kirkbride (joined 2007).
