Grundig

Founded in 1945 by Max Grundig in Fürth, Germany, Grundig began as a radio manufacturer and became a major consumer electronics brand. After bankruptcy in 2003, the company was acquired by Turkish conglomerate Koç Holding through Arçelik A.Ş. in 2007. Today, Grundig operates as part of the Beko group, with headquarters in Eschborn, Germany (Frankfurt area) and employs 1,600 people worldwide. The company produces consumer electronics, small domestic appliances, and household appliances, being the EU's only consumer electronics company covering the full range. Grundig emphasizes sustainability and quality of life with initiatives like 'Respect Food' to reduce food waste. The brand maintains its German engineering heritage while benefiting from Turkish ownership and global distribution networks.
