Founded in 2007 by Janusz Sikora, an expert metallurgist and audiophile for over 40 years, J.Sikora began manufacturing high-end turntables and tonearms in Lublin, Poland. Janusz, whose diverse background includes experience as a rock guitarist, locksmith, tube amplifier manufacturing, and as one of the pillars of Burdjak & Sikora (a company producing supreme vacuum-tube amplifiers), leveraged his extensive knowledge of non-ferrous metals to create his first turntables. His son Robert now takes a leading role in the company, ensuring continuity of the family business. Based in Lublin, J.Sikora turntables are manufactured at the Allmet metal fabrication factory, where each unit is produced individually, one at a time, addressing advanced music lovers and audiophiles seeking ultimate fidelity. The company offers three turntable models: Initial, Standard, and Reference, along with innovative tonearms including the revolutionary KV12 - the first tonearm to use an armtube made of Kevlar. Their philosophy emphasizes reproducing music with ultimate fidelity to the original recording, built on the foundation of love for music. J.Sikora has gained significant recognition in the high-end audio world, receiving numerous awards and positive reviews from prestigious publications like Stereophile and The Absolute Sound, establishing the brand as a premier Polish manufacturer of analog playback equipment.
