Founded in 2005 by two audiophile brothers, Zheng Cai and Zheng Xi, Line Magnetic Audio emerged from a passion for tube electronics and Western Electric replicas. Based in China's Guangdong Province, the company operates from two locations: Zhuhai (1,700 square meters production and office facility) and Foshan (700 square meters including R&D, design, audition room, and production). Elder brother Zheng Cai, former General Manager and chief engineer at Cayin, left in 1995 to pursue truly high-end amplifier development, gaining extensive experience with various companies before co-founding Line Magnetic. The company specializes in manufacturing vacuum tube power amplifiers, becoming world-renowned for repairs and replicas of classic American audio equipment from Western Electric, Altec, and Jensen. Their product line includes amplifiers like the LM-500IA and LM-219IA series, concentrating on research and manufacturing of tube electronics while maintaining their philosophy of 'Love music, Love life' - pursuing not just sound but the desire and enjoyment of art. Tragically, both founding brothers passed away by March 2019, leaving the business to their children. Line Magnetic Zhuhai continues under a young lady's leadership with factory engineers, while Line Magnetic Foshan operates under a young male guitarist and engineer, both maintaining the company's commitment to high-end tube audio equipment through worldwide distributor networks.
