The Luxman C-7 is a high-performance control amplifier which employs a fully balanced Complimentary Single Stagger Circuit (CSSC) configuration. The design integrates a grounded base type current transmission method, ensuring natural signal amplification while maintaining a high cut-off frequency without extra phase correction. With its fully balanced CSSC circuit, the C-7 eliminates ground potential differences, enabling consistent operation of amplifier stages that effectively reduces noise and enhances sound quality. The amplifier features an optimized dual feedback (OD β) circuit that utilizes an innovative method of DC and AC feedback, ensuring harmonized sound reproduction across all frequency bands without introducing instability. The C-7 incorporates a unique high-inertia power supply that promises powerful instantaneous performance, bolstered by custom electrolytic capacitors. Its construction includes a rigid 5-point grounded FRP chassis, designed for effective vibration absorption. Additionally, comprehensive noise countermeasures ensure minimal interference among components. An independent power supply layout guarantees separation from the signal path, helping to prevent leakage flux. Custom components like non-magnetic carbon film resistors and specific capacitors are utilized to achieve superior sound quality.
