Its frequency response extends from 20 Hz to 20 kHz with minimal deviation (± 0.5 dB), and it boasts a dynamic range of 96 dB and a signal-to-noise ratio of 100 dB. Channel separation is impressive at 103 dB. The player employs an HDCD decoder for optimal playback of HDCD-encoded discs, enhancing the reproducing capabilities beyond standard CDs. The D-600s incorporates a unique drive mechanism with built-in digital signal processing to ensure precise signal reading, employing high-density FRP resin to minimize resonance. Power supply details indicate separate regulator circuits for analog and digital components to prevent interference. The chassis design includes several shielded compartments, enhancing signal integrity and further reducing noise.
