The Luxman G-11 is an equalizer designed as part of Luxman's Laboratory Standard Series, produced from 1976 to 1982 in Japan. It features an aluminum front with grey metallic housing and operates with a power consumption of 23 watts. The device measures 438 mm in width, 126 mm in height, and 314 mm in depth, weighing 5.9 kg. The G-11 was originally priced at approximately 495 US dollars or 1,800 DM. It includes one line input with a sensitivity of 1 V and an impedance of 100 kOhm, along with one line output that can deliver up to 6 V at an output impedance of 500 Ohm. The frequency response of the G-11 spans from 10 Hz up to 100 kHz with a distortion factor less than 0.005% and a signal-to-noise ratio exceeding 115 dB. The equalizer features 10 sliders for tone control, allowing adjustment at frequencies of 22 Hz, 55 Hz, 110 Hz, 220 Hz, 440 Hz, 880 Hz, 1.8 kHz, 3.5 kHz, 7 kHz, and 14 kHz. The control range is switchable between ±6 dB and ±12 dB in steps of 1 or 2 dB. Additionally, it has sliders for left and right channels separately and includes a bypass switch for convenience.
