The Lyngdorf CS-1 is a compact full range loudspeaker engineered for inconspicuous integration within cabinet spaces like lowboards, sideboards, and TV furniture. Unlike traditional loudspeakers that are vertically aligned, the CS-1 features a horizontal design with a front-ported bass reflex and an ingeniously positioned tweeter. This tweeter is both elevated and angled to minimize sound diffractions caused by furniture edges, enhancing sound delivery towards the designated listening area.

To achieve superior sound quality, the CS-1 incorporates the same midrange/bass driver and tweeter found in the acclaimed FR-1 two-way loudspeaker. However, its construction and acoustic tuning are meticulously tailored for optimal performance when mounted inside cabinets. The structure of the CS-1 is crafted from robust MDF with a matte-black lacquer finish that is both durable and easy to maintain. The speaker is thoughtfully accompanied by self-adhesive rubber pads, which help protect furniture surfaces from scratches and reduce resonance interference between the speaker and the furniture.

Optimized for clarity, the CS-1 is designed without a front grille. This feature is particularly advantageous when the speaker is placed behind the fabric-covered doors of TV units, allowing it to deliver sound with minimal obstruction.
