Roon's certified ecosystem continues its impressive growth with the addition of thirteen new devices from esteemed brands such as Denon, Marantz, FiiO, HiBy, Rotel, and Technics. These new Roon Ready and Roon Tested devices enhance the platform's capability to deliver seamless high-resolution audio playback across a diverse array of audio systems, now encompassing over 1,000 high-performance products from more than 160 audio brands.
Denon leads the expansion with four new Roon Ready devices, including the AVR/AVC-S670H and AVR/AVC-X3800H AV receivers. These models support Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, feature 8K video passthrough, and offer room correction with Audyssey or Dirac Live, making them ideal for high-end home theater setups. Additionally, the DRA-900H provides 2.2-channel stereo performance with HEOS multiroom streaming and extensive connectivity options, while the PMA-900HNE integrated amplifier delivers 85W per channel, supporting high-resolution audio formats like DSD256 and featuring built-in HEOS for wireless playback.
FiiO joins the roster with the K17, a powerful desktop DAC and headphone amplifier equipped with dual Asahi Kasei DAC chips and a 4000mW output, designed for audiophiles seeking exceptional headphone performance. HiBy's flagship digital audio player, the R8 II, now Roon Ready, boasts a Snapdragon chipset, Darwin-MPA architecture, and support for ultra-high-resolution formats up to DSD1024, offering portable high-end audio with tight Roon integration.
Marantz introduces two new certified devices: the AV 10, a 15.4-channel AV processor supporting Dolby Atmos, DTS:X, 8K HDMI, and Dirac Live calibration, and the Stereo 70s, a slimline 2-channel receiver that combines 8K passthrough with HEOS streaming, bridging simplicity and modern home cinema features. Orchard Audio’s PecanPi+ Streamer adds a compact yet capable network streamer with a built-in DAC and headphone output, while Rotel’s DX-5 Streaming Amplifier integrates an ESS Sabre DAC with HDMI ARC and multiple digital inputs for versatile connectivity.
Technics rounds out the new additions with the SC-C65 and SC-C70MK2 all-in-one solutions, which merge CD playback, streaming, and high-resolution support in sleek network audio systems.
