The Onkyo E-63 A II is a bookshelf loudspeaker model that was manufactured between 1971 and 1975 in Japan. This speaker is a 3-way design, which includes three separate drivers: a 300 mm cone woofer for low frequencies, a 50 mm dome midrange driver, and a 25 mm dome tweeter for high frequencies. The speaker has a closed enclosure, ensuring tight bass response. With a nominal power handling of 30 W and a maximum of 60 W, the E-63 A II also features an efficiency rating of 99 dB/W/m, indicating high sensitivity and the ability to produce sound at high volumes with relatively low power input. The frequency response spans from 35 Hz to 20 kHz, covering the full range of audible sound. The transitional ranges for the crossover frequencies are set at 700 Hz and 6,500 Hz. This model has an impedance of 8 Ohms and includes a level control feature for the midrange and treble, allowing users to tailor the sound to their preferences.
