The Ortofon Stylus 14 is an original replacement stylus designed specifically for use with the Ortofon TM14 cartridge, as well as other OM and TM series cartridges. This stylus is engineered to deliver a frequency response ranging from 20 Hz to 22 kHz, with a tolerance of ± 2 dB over the range of 20-20 kHz. Its dynamic lateral compliance is rated at 25 µm/mN, indicating its ability to track the grooves of vinyl records effectively. The stylus features an elliptical shape with a tip radius of r/R 8/18 µm, allowing for better contact with the record groove. The tracking force for this stylus can range from 1.0 to 1.5 grams, with a recommended tracking force of 1.25 grams for optimal performance.
