Peachtree Audio was founded in 2007 by audio industry veterans Jim Spainhour and David Solomon, who recognized the shift toward computer-based audio and streaming. The company introduced the groundbreaking Decco integrated amplifier in 2007, which was the world's first integrated amplifier to feature a USB input. Based in Matthews, North Carolina, Peachtree Audio designs, assembles, and tests all products in their own facility. In 2017, the company celebrated its 10th anniversary with a product relaunch as 'Peachtree 2.0.' The company specializes in high-performance integrated amplifiers with built-in DACs, following the design philosophy: 'Make it sound great. Make it simple. Make it beautiful.' Current product lines include the Nova series (Nova 150, Nova 300, Nova 500), Carina series (including Carina GaN), and the GaN400 power amplifier. The company has transitioned to direct sales, no longer using dealers, and maintains a focus on innovative amplifier technology including GaN (Gallium Nitride) amplifiers.
