The RFT HMK V-100 is an audio amplifier that delivers an output power of 2 x 30 W RMS. The output levels for each channel are visually represented through a five-segment LED display, which indicates power levels at 0.03, 0.6, 3.6, 12, and 40 W, with a sixth LED serving as a power indicator. This amplifier features electronic controls for volume and tonal adjustments, allowing the user to toggle between linear and loudness modes, activate mono playback, and reduce the volume by approximately 12 dB. It includes connections for Phono, Tuner, Tape1, as well as front-facing inputs for Tape2 and a headphone jack. Additional protective features include an electronic speaker protection circuit against short circuits and DC at the speaker output, along with a power-on delay circuit. The HMK V-100 was initially showcased at the Leipzig Autumn Fair in 1985, and it was available in silver and black, though black units are rarer. The device is characterized by its solid build and a range of technical specifications: operating voltage of 220 V at 50 Hz, power consumption of 120 W at nominal output, harmonic distortion factor of 0.2% at 25 W and 1 kHz, frequency response of 16 Hz to 35 kHz, and a signal-to-noise ratio exceeding 75 dB at 25 W. The amplifier also provides EQ capabilities with +/- 14 dB adjustment for bass at 40 Hz and treble at 16 kHz, and a balance adjustment range of 12 dB. The dimensions are 390 x 60 x 300 mm and it weighs 5 kg.
