The Sansui G-7000 and G-701 are integrated stereo receivers produced between 1978 and 1980. They feature a classic brushed aluminum front complemented by a wooden cabinet and are designed with a focus on quality audio output. The model provides a power consumption of 380 W and has a compact dimension of 505 x 187 x 422 mm (WxHxD), weighing approximately 17 kg. It lacks remote control functionality. The G-701 represents the European variant of the G-7000. Audio inputs include two phono inputs with a sensitivity of 2.5 mV, a microphone input, and multiple auxiliary connections, while outputs cater to tape recording and headphone connections. The amplifier delivers a continuous power of 85 W per channel at 8 Ohms, with a dynamic power output of 120 W per channel at 4 Ohms. The frequency response spans from 5 Hz to 50 kHz with a low total harmonic distortion of less than 0.025%. The built-in tuner covers FM and MW frequencies, offering selective FM performance with a notable signal-to-noise ratio and distortion metrics.
