The Sanyo DCA-411 is an integrated amplifier that was manufactured from 1978 to 1980 in Japan. It features a classic design available in either silver or black. This amplifier operates with a power consumption of 230 W and has dimensions of 420 mm in width, 150 mm in height, and 315 mm in depth, weighing approximately 9.5 kg. The original price of the DCA-411 was around 498 Deutsche Marks. It does not come with a remote control, which was typical for integrated amplifiers of that era. The DCA-411 offers a variety of input options, including dual phono inputs with a sensitivity of 2.5 mV and 50 kOhm, tuner and AUX inputs, as well as two tape play inputs. For outputs, it includes multiple tape recording options and headphone compatibility ranging from 4 to 16 Ohms. The amplifier supports connection for two pairs of speakers. Performance-wise, the DCA-411 delivers a continuous power output of 2x 45 W (RMS) at 8 Ohms and 2x 55 W at 4 Ohms, with very low total harmonic distortion at 0.05%. The frequency response ranges from 10 Hz to 40 kHz, and it boasts a signal-to-noise ratio of 70 dB for phono and 85 dB for high-level inputs. Tone control features include bass and treble adjustments of ± 10 dB at their respective frequencies. The amplifier also has loudness control, a high filter, and a low filter (subsonic) option. The front panel hosts two large VU meters, enhancing the visual appeal of the unit, along with a convenient front connector for Tape 2.
