HD 25 SP

The Sennheiser HD 25 SP are closed dynamic headphones designed for monitoring, recording, and outdoor applications. They are a more affordable alternative to the HD 25, featuring a simplified headband and a modified capsule design. These headphones boast a very lightweight build, effective noise attenuation to minimize feedback risks, and a high maximum sound pressure level. The design includes detachable stranded steel cables, neodymium ferrous magnet systems, and copper-coated aluminum voice coils to facilitate fast transient responses. Despite their lower price point, they are crafted for comfort even during prolonged use, making them suitable for mixing in noisy environments. The HD 25 SP ensures universal compatibility and is easily field-serviceable. With specifications that include a frequency response of 30 Hz to 16,000 Hz, a nominal impedance of 85 Ω, and a characteristic SPL at 1 kHz of 100 dB ± 2 dB, they effectively deliver accurate sound reproduction. The ear coupling is supraural, featuring a contact pressure of approximately 3 N and a weight of 4.05 oz without the cable. The headphones come with a 3 m detachable dual-sided steel cable and a connector that accommodates both 1/8" stereo mini jack and 1/4" stereo jack plug connections.
