USS (Ultimate Sound Stream) is an audio communication protocol jointly developed by SOULNOTE and Sforzato for PCM/DSD data transmission over LAN.
The protocol is designed based on extensive listening tests, aiming to achieve minimal load and fluctuation for high-quality sound.
USS utilizes UDP for data transmission, sending smaller data packets at higher frequencies to reduce receiver load variability.
