The Sony WI-SP510 is a wireless in-ear headphone designed primarily for sports and active use. Launched in April 2020, it offers a variety of features suited for fitness enthusiasts, including a neckband design which enhances comfort and stability during workouts. Weighing only 30 grams, it combines lightweight construction with a snug fit, making it suitable for rigorous activities. The headphone features a solid battery life, offering around 15 hours of playback time from a full charge via USB-C, which takes approximately three hours. However, there is a notable issue with a high noise floor, which can be distracting while listening to quieter audio content. Despite this, the audio reproduction is solid, particularly in the bass department, meeting the expectations set by Sony's Extra Bass line. Available in various colors, the WI-SP510 presents a good value proposition in the competitive sports headphone market, although its performance may not satisfy users who prefer softer music or audiobooks.
