Founded in 2006 by Touraj Moghaddam, Vertere Acoustics emerged from the expertise of one of Britain's most respected hi-fi designers who co-founded Roksan Audio in 1985 with Tufan Hashemi after obtaining his PhD at Imperial College London. After successfully running Roksan for 25 years and creating acclaimed turntables like the Xerxes and TMS series, Moghaddam departed in 2011 to establish Vertere Acoustics as a boutique manufacturer of high-end audio equipment. Headquartered at 5 Oliver Business Park, Oliver Road, London NW10 7JB, the company initially focused on hand-built cables starting with the breakthrough Pulse cable series, before expanding into reference turntables in 2013. Vertere specializes in precision-engineered analog audio components including record players, tonearms, cartridges, phono preamps, motor drives, and high-performance cables, with additional ventures including Vertere Records label.
