Weiss Engineering Ltd. is a Swiss digital audio equipment manufacturer founded in 1985 by Grammy-winning audio pioneer Daniel Weiss, headquartered at Florastrasse 42, 8610 Uster, Switzerland. Led by Daniel Weiss (recipient of the 2021 Technical Grammy Award for contributions to digital audio evolution), the company specializes in cutting-edge digital audio equipment for professional mastering studios and high-end Hi-Fi systems, with all products developed, designed, and manufactured in Switzerland. Starting with a focus on digital audio processors for mastering studios since 1985, Weiss expanded into the high-end consumer market in 2000, serving both professional audio engineers and audiophiles worldwide. With approximately 10 employees including electronics engineers Jakob Schiesser, Rolf Anderegg, and Isabelle Kernhof, the company continues Daniel Weiss's pioneering work in digital signal processing, having previously worked at Studer Revox developing sampling frequency converters and digital audio recorder electronics after graduating with BSEE from HTL Rapperswil in 1979.
