Db - Die Box Lautsprecher

Db 'Die Box' was a German kit-loudspeaker company from Mainz that operated from approximately 1988 to 1991. They specialized in DIY speaker kits using quality components including Visaton chassis. Notable models included the Db 1 (with 19mm titanium dome tweeter and 140mm carbon fiber woofer, priced at 375 DM in 1989) and the Db 4 (3-way floor-standing bass-reflex system). The company is defunct and was only active for a brief period in the late 1980s/early 1990s.
