Elipson is France's oldest audio equipment manufacturer, founded in 1938 by Joseph Léon and originally operating as Multimoteur company. The company became 'Elipson' in 1951, a contraction of 'ellipse' and 'son' (sound). With over 85 years of experience and more than 60 patents, Elipson has established itself as a pioneer in French electroacoustics, specializing in high-end loudspeakers, turntables, amplifiers, and connected audio systems. The brand is renowned for its innovative spherical speaker designs, particularly the iconic Planet series, and maintains its 'Made in France' manufacturing philosophy. Elipson combines traditional acoustic expertise with modern technology, producing both classic hi-fi components and contemporary connected speakers for over 50 countries worldwide. Recent product launches include the Legacy II range, Planet L Performance, Prestige Facet II series, and Horus 6B Active BT speaker unveiled at Munich High End 2025.

Elipson Releases New Wireless Models in the Horus Series
The Elipson Horus Active BT series includes two models: Horus 6B Active BT (bookshelf) and Horus 11F Active BT (floor-standing).
Both models feature built-in stereo amplification providing 50W per channel, a 25mm silk dome tweeter, and cellulose-fiber-reinforced drivers.
Connectivity options include Aux, MM phono, coaxial (24-bit/192kHz), optical (24-bit/192kHz), USB (24-bit/96kHz), HDMI ARC, and Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD support.
