The Heco P 4302 SL is a 3-way closed loudspeaker designed for shelving use, produced between 1973 and 1978 in Germany. This model features several finishes, including white (RAL 9002), graphite black (RAL 9011), and from 1976, natural walnut with a black frame and grille. Its dimensions are 250mm in width, 460mm in height, and 210mm in depth, weighing approximately 10.5 kg. The original price was 520 DM during its sale period, and the individual piece price was 308 DM on September 1, 1973.

The speaker's technical specifications include a low-frequency driver of 205 mm, a midrange driver of 50 mm, and a dome tweeter of 25 mm. It has a nominal power handling of 50 watts and a music power handling of 70 watts, which was later specified as 85 watts. The power required for operation, according to DIN 45 500 (for an output of 86 dB at 3 meters), ranges from 0.8 to 2.5 watts. For optimal performance at room volume (80 dBA at 3 meters), about 1.2 watts of amplifier power is recommended, with a suitability range of 25 to 35 watts per channel.

Frequency response is from 28 Hz to 25,000 Hz, with transitional ranges at 500 Hz and 5,000 Hz, and the impedance is rated at 4 ohms. The recommended listening distance is between 2 to 6 meters. This speaker is part of the Heco Professional series, which is intended for studio applications and features a Softline design that is similar to other models in the P series.
