The JBL TLX 100 Sub is a passive subwoofer designed to enhance audio systems by delivering deep, powerful low frequencies, ideal for both stereo music playback and home cinema applications. Manufactured around 1995-1996 in Denmark, this subwoofer features a black finish and is engineered to work synergistically with other speakers, such as the TLX 111 bookshelf speakers. It has a robust construction, designed to produce profound infra bass that is felt throughout the room. The TLX 100 is equipped with dual 8-inch JBL drivers that are supported by foam surrounds and triple magnets, ensuring stable performance over time. It utilizes a single vented bandpass cabinet type, which contributes to its efficiency and sound output. The subwoofer has a frequency response range of 1-50 Hz with a nominal efficiency of approximately 91 dB at 1 meter with 1 watt input.
