Founded in Granada, Spain at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, Kroma Atelier (formerly Kroma Audio) is a high-end speaker manufacturer launched in 2016, specializing in handcrafted audiophile loudspeakers. Led by Miguel Castro (speaker design) and head engineer Javier Millán (crossover design and Master of Kroma Atelier), the company follows a unique philosophy combining the highest level of Hi-Fi with the naturalness of live performance. Their speakers are crafted from Krion, a stone-like material with excellent acoustic qualities that is non-conductive, non-magnetic, and features high mass with absence of resonances. Each pair of speakers is handcrafted as a piece of art, with every component measured by hand in their Spanish workshops. The company underwent ownership changes and rebranded from Kroma Audio to Kroma Atelier, maintaining their commitment to eliminating artificial colorations and achieving the most natural, realistic sound reproduction possible through innovative materials and traditional Spanish craftsmanship.
