The Magnat MIG 05 is a compact three-way loudspeaker system that combines functionality with a solid build. Produced in the early 1980s, the MIG 05 features a bass reflex configuration, allowing it to deliver a robust low-frequency response. It is equipped with an 8-inch woofer, a midrange driver, and a tweeter, ensuring a wide frequency range from 30 Hz to 22,000 Hz. The speakers come with dual bass reflex ports, enhancing their low-end performance. With a sensitivity of 1.0 W and an impedance of 4 Ohms, they can handle a sine/music power load capacity of 95 to 120 W. The construction is solid, made of chipboard, and their dimensions are 45 cm high, 29 cm wide, and 28 cm deep, weighing 14 kg each. The aesthetic design is somewhat utilitarian, with a brown and black finish and a less desirable exterior appearance when viewed from the sides. Nevertheless, they perform reasonably well, offering decent bass and clear highs, albeit slightly sharp, making them a suitable choice for casual listening.
