Founded in 1973 by Rainer Haas in Cologne, Germany, Magnat started as a small 60-person company with in-house production, research laboratory, and marketing department. Now operating as Premium Audio Company Germany GmbH (part of VOXX International), Magnat is headquartered in Pulheim near Cologne. The company develops all products in their German laboratories and has built a reputation for high-quality audio engineering, being voted best loudspeaker brand in Germany by Focus Money magazine in 2020. Magnat distributes not only their own brand but also Klipsch, Jamo, Onkyo, Pioneer, and Integra, serving over 50 countries worldwide. Their commitment to German engineering excellence and comprehensive product development continues the founder's original vision.
