BenQ has expanded its home cinema lineup with the introduction of two new 4K projectors, the W5850 and W4100i, both featuring the innovative AI Cinema technology. This AI-driven image processing enhances visual quality by dynamically adjusting color accuracy, saturation, and sharpness in real-time, ensuring an optimal viewing experience across various content sources.
The flagship W5850 is engineered for expansive viewing, capable of projecting images up to 200 inches. Its optical system includes a 1.6x motorized zoom and supports both horizontal and vertical image shifts, combined with a short throw ratio that allows a 180-inch screen from a mere four-meter distance. Utilizing a blue laser light source, the W5850 delivers a luminous output of 2,600 lumens while maintaining exceptional color fidelity with 100% Rec.709 and DCI-P3 color space coverage and factory calibration precision of Delta E less than 2.
Complementing the W5850, the W4100i targets more conventional home theater setups without compromising on performance. It boasts a higher brightness level of 3,200 lumens and supports HDR content, delivering balanced and vibrant colors. The built-in Android TV facilitates seamless streaming, while the AI Cinema mode enhances compressed streaming content, making it ideal for platforms like Netflix and Disney+.
Both models are equipped with HDMI 2.1 ports supporting eARC, ensuring high-quality audio transmission with minimal latency of 17.9 ms. Additionally, they incorporate Dolby Atmos and eARC-compatible audio systems, providing an immersive sound experience. The projectors also feature OTA updates and compatibility with voice assistants, enhancing user convenience and future-proofing the devices.
With their advanced AI Cinema technology and robust technical specifications, the BenQ W5850 and W4100i projectors set a new standard for home cinema enthusiasts. Whether aiming for a grand cinematic display or a versatile setup for everyday viewing, these projectors offer the precision and performance expected by discerning audiophiles.
