Deep bass doesn't just add weight to movies and music—it defines the space, pacing, and realism of what you hear. At High End Munich 2025, DALI introduced the V-16 F, their most advanced subwoofer to date, specifically engineered to complement the flagship KORE and EPIKORE loudspeakers. This Danish powerhouse promises not only to reach impressive low frequencies but also to maintain articulation and control, setting a new standard in high-end audio reproduction.
The V-16 F boasts a formidable 16-inch driver with a ±16 mm linear travel, housed in a robust 90-liter cabinet. Powered by a 1500-watt Class D amplifier with a peak of 2500 watts, this subwoofer delivers deep, clean bass down to 19 Hz with minimal distortion and ultra-low signal latency. Its design emphasizes low group delay and a wide bandwidth, ensuring that the low-end integrates seamlessly without overshadowing the midrange or high frequencies.
Technical excellence is further achieved through four flare-tuned reflex ports, optimized for 18 Hz tuning, and an array of DSP tools including Room Mode Attenuation and Constant Group Delay. These features allow the V-16 F to adapt effortlessly to various room sizes and acoustic environments, from expansive listening halls to more confined home theater setups. The incorporation of Constant Surface Surround (CSS) Technology reduces diaphragm resonances, resulting in cleaner sound and lower overall distortion.
Aesthetically, the V-16 F complements DALI's new range of high-gloss finishes available for the KORE and EPIKORE loudspeakers, enhancing both performance and visual appeal. Despite its substantial size and weight of 53 kg, the subwoofer is designed to blend discreetly into any setup, providing powerful and precise bass without drawing undue attention.
With an MSRP of £4499 / €4999 and availability expected in July 2025, the DALI V-16 F stands out as a formidable addition to the high-end subwoofer market. It embodies DALI’s commitment to engineering excellence, delivering a bass solution that anchors flagship systems with authority and finesse.
