Fyne Audio Unveils the F704SP Speaker at Munich High-End 2025
Fyne Audio is set to unveil its latest addition to the SP series at the High End Munich Show 2025. The F704SP floorstanding speakers build upon the foundation of the original F704 model, integrating enhancements inspired by the flagship F1 series. This new model aims to deliver an unparalleled listening experience by combining dynamic power with refined articulation.
At the heart of the F704SP lies the proprietary IsoFlare driver, a 300mm coaxial unit featuring a multi-fiber bass/midrange cone and a 75mm titanium dome tweeter. The design ensures phase-coherent emission, enhancing clarity and precision across the frequency spectrum. The speaker is further equipped with a secondary 300mm bass driver, which extends the low-frequency response down to 22 Hz, supported by a robust ferromagnetic system that minimizes distortion and ensures tight, impactful bass.
The acoustic architecture of the F704SP is complemented by an advanced crossover network, meticulously crafted using high-grade polypropylene capacitors and military-grade Vishay film resistors. Cryogenic treatment of the crossover assembly enhances material stability, resulting in superior signal transparency and detail resolution. Additionally, Neotech PC-OCC wiring and gold-plated WBT Nextgen terminals contribute to the system's exceptional clarity and connectivity.
Constructed from high-density European birch plywood, the F704SP cabinet is reinforced with internal bracing to eliminate unwanted resonances and ensure structural rigidity. The incorporation of Fyne Audio’s BassTrax Tractrix diffusion system allows for a 360-degree dispersion of low frequencies, providing a more immersive and balanced soundstage. The speakers feature a phase-inverted port directed downward, optimizing bass distribution and interaction with the listening environment.
