Gryphon Audio Designs has unveiled the fifth-generation Antileon Revelation Power Amplifier, set to premiere at HIGH END Munich 2025 in Atrium 4.1, Room E120. Celebrating 40 years of excellence, the Antileon Revelation continues the legacy established by the original DM-100 in 1991. Featuring true dual-mono construction and pure Class A topology, this amplifier is engineered to deliver exceptional performance, effortlessly driving even the most demanding loudspeakers.
The Antileon Revelation retains the robust metalwork from its EVO predecessor, now enhanced with a striking sculptural logo reminiscent of a Viking crest. The rear panel has been upgraded with custom gold-plated binding posts and dual 20-amp AC inlets to support its powerful dual-mono architecture. Inside, each chassis houses 40 Toshiba high-current bipolar output transistors and an impressive 670,000 μF of power supply capacitance. Additionally, dual 1150VA toroidal transformers and a separate supply for digital control ensure pristine audio fidelity.
Available in both stereo and mono configurations, the Revelation offers 165 watts per channel in stereo and 180 watts per channel in mono, maintaining pure Class A operation throughout. Technical specifications include an output impedance of 0.04Ω for stereo and 0.02Ω for mono, a gain of +31dB, and a bandwidth extending from 0.3Hz to 350kHz. The amplifier’s design emphasizes low noise and high stability, with features such as no output relays, DC servo coupling, and frequency-independent damping.
At HIGH END Munich, the Antileon Revelation will be showcased within an all-Gryphon setup, including the Ethos CD/DAC, Commander Preamplifier, EOS 5 loudspeakers, and the PowerZone 3.20 Power Optimizer. Combined with high-performance StandArt racks and Vanta cabling, this system represents one of the most formidable and meticulously designed audio setups available this year. Priced at €38,800 or $45,500 per chassis, the Antileon Revelation positions itself as a top-tier option for audiophiles seeking uncompromised sound quality and technical excellence.
