Loewe, the esteemed German heritage brand, has unveiled two new limited-edition speakers, the inicio and grand inicio, timed to coincide with High End 2025. Manufactured exclusively on demand, these speakers are crafted to cater to audiophiles seeking precision and aesthetic elegance.
The bookshelf speakers feature a two-way design within a closed cabinet, utilizing USHINDI drivers from Purifi and phase-neutral Air Motion Transformer (AMT) tweeters to deliver clear and distortion-free high frequencies. Available in both walnut and white finishes, the provides a frequency response of 45–22,000 Hz and handles up to 200 watts per pair at 4 Ohms. The design ensures seamless integration into sophisticated interiors, making it suitable for both private and professional listening spaces.
In contrast, the grand inicio floor-standing speakers also adopt a two-way configuration but incorporate neodymium-enhanced AMT tweeters and robust Purifi drivers. The grand inicio boasts a wider frequency range of 35–22,000 Hz and a higher power handling capacity of 400 watts at 4 Ohms. The design includes a substantial aluminum stand and a walnut cabinet accented with titanium details, underscoring its luxurious appeal. Additionally, both models support bi-wiring and bi-amping, further enhancing their acoustic performance.
Both speaker models feature a magnetic front cover designed to protect the drivers while optimizing sound quality. Priced at €4,999 for the inicio and €9,999 for the grand inicio per pair, these speakers will be available from May 2025. Attendees of High End 2025 can experience them firsthand at Loewe's booth in Hall 4, Stand K4.
