Mark Levinson made a powerful debut at HIGH END Munich 2025, unveiling the all-new 600 Series under the Harman Luxury Audio banner. This release follows Harman’s strategic acquisition of Sound United, marking a significant expansion in their high-end audio portfolio. The 600 Series showcases Mark Levinson’s commitment to pushing performance boundaries through meticulous engineering and superior usability, catering to discerning audiophiles who demand uncompromised sound quality.

Designed, engineered, and assembled entirely in the USA, the 600 Series includes the № 626 Dual-Monaural Preamplifier, № 632 Dual-Monaural Amplifier, and the flagship № 631 Monaural Amplifier. These components embody high-end craftsmanship and circuit design refined over decades, utilizing the proprietary Pure Path architecture. This fully discrete, dual-monaural layout ensures exceptional signal integrity and mechanical isolation, minimizing noise and preserving dynamic range throughout the signal chain. The series features robust construction with machined solid aluminum enclosures, mechanically decoupled feet, and internal substructures to mitigate vibrations, all highlighted by subtle red lighting that emphasizes the brand’s precision-oriented aesthetic.

The № 626 Dual-Monaural Preamplifier serves as the heart of the 600 Series, integrating the Precision Link III DAC capable of handling 32-bit/384kHz PCM and native DSD formats. It offers extensive connectivity options, including balanced XLR, single-ended RCA, AES/EBU, coaxial RCA, optical Toslink, and asynchronous USB-C inputs, alongside multiple analog outputs and control interfaces. Meanwhile, the № 632 and № 631 amplifiers deliver formidable power through Class A/AB operation and toroidal power supplies, with the № 632 providing dual-mono channels for balanced performance and the № 631 offering single-channel monoblock configuration for ultimate control and sonic impact.

Jim Garrett, Senior Director of Product Strategy and Planning at HARMAN Luxury Audio, emphasized the 600 Series as a testament to over 50 years of Mark Levinson’s dedication to audio excellence. “It’s about more than technical excellence—it’s about capturing the emotion, power, and nuance of a musical performance with breathtaking clarity,” Garrett stated. This series not only upholds Mark Levinson’s legacy but also positions it distinctly within Harman’s expanded lineup, which now includes Marantz’s 10 Series and Classé’s Delta series, ensuring each brand maintains its unique identity and performance standards.

Priced at $25,000 for the № 626 preamp, $30,000 for the № 632 amplifier, and $40,000 each for the № 631 monoblocks, the 600 Series sets a new benchmark in ultra-high-end audio. Availability is scheduled for Q4 2025 through select Mark Levinson dealers, offering a tariff-free, American-made option that stands out in the competitive high-end market. The Mark Levinson 600 Series represents a bold statement of intent, blending precision engineering, premium materials, and advanced technology to deliver unparalleled audio fidelity for the most demanding listeners.
