Pro-Ject Audio Systems has launched a limited edition turntable that celebrates the legendary rock band AC/DC. Inspired by the band’s iconic lightning bolt logo, the turntable features a striking design with a 10mm-thick translucent red glass platter atop a hand-painted black MDF base shaped like the lightning bolt. An LED ring beneath the acrylic sub-platter illuminates the drive unit, creating a visually captivating experience that mirrors AC/DC’s electrifying performances.
Designed to appeal to both audiophiles and dedicated fans, the Pro-Ject AC/DC turntable delivers exceptional sound quality. The robust 28mm MDF base ensures remarkable stability, while the stainless steel main bearing housed in a brass sleeve facilitates precise playback. The heavy glass platter effectively reduces resonance, providing a clear and detailed audio experience without the drawbacks of lighter materials.
A standout feature of this turntable is the transparent acrylic tonearm, meticulously shaped like a lightning bolt to align with the overall aesthetic.
