Razer has unveiled the Clio, an innovative portable speaker system designed in the form of a pillow for gaming chairs. This unique approach integrates audio directly into the gaming experience, replacing or supplementing traditional speakers. When attached to a chair, the Clio’s side panels envelop the user’s head, delivering two-way sound just centimeters away from the ears. This proximity enhances the immersive quality of games, making audio cues more precise and engaging.
Equipped with THX Spatial Audio, the Clio ensures a high-fidelity soundscape that accurately places sounds in a three-dimensional space. It operates seamlessly both as a standalone unit and in conjunction with other speakers or audio systems. Additionally, the Clio can function as a dedicated rear channel within a 7.1-channel setup, offering flexibility for various gaming rigs. Connectivity is handled wirelessly via Bluetooth and Razer’s proprietary HyperSpeed WiFi protocol, minimizing latency to maintain synchronized gaming audio.
